Position: JDE Sales and Distribution Functional Consultant

Location: Rye, NY

Duration: 9 months

 

This person will contribute to IT projects and support of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1), specifically in the Sales Order Management and Finance modules. Specific tasks will include:

Creating business requirements documentation and functional specifications for business objectives.

Working directly with business partners for solution analysis of requirements and troubleshooting.

Develop and execute testing scripts for functional requirements.

Adhere to internal change management procedures.

Work with project managers for tasks and effort estimations.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  EXPERIENCE & SKILLS 

Bachelor's degree in Business (or Management), Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.

5+ years of experience in JDE E1 Finance and Sales Order Management.

Experience in designing integrations between JDE E1 and banks for A/P processing, credit card processing – especially with Vertex.

Experience with Product Costing.

Experience in Business Requirements gathering / writing functional specifications / user training / testing / change management.

Experience with SDLC and project management processes.

Strong Supply chain knowledge or background.

Strong analytical skills.

Strong communication skills
