Senior DB2 DBA –

San Antonio, TX

3-5 YEARS Project –

$60/HR

 

MUST HAVE AT LEAST 8 YEARS OF DB2 DBA EXPERIENCE. PREFER US CITIZENS AND GREEN CARD HOLDERS. WILL CONSIDER VISA HOLDERS WITH EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Client has an immediate opening in San Antonio, TX for an Application DB2 Database Administrator. 

This is a 3-5 YEAR PROJECT!!!!!!!!

The Application DB2 DBA must have strong DB2 database administrator experience.  Direct interaction with the application development teams will be required.  The candidate must also have demonstrated database knowledge of Informix and working knowledge of MS SQL Server and MySQL.

 

High skill level and experience is required for the following:

 

·         Strong DB2 database analytical and decision making skills. Demonstrated DB2 database configuration and administration experience. Demonstrated DB2 database performance tuning experience. Demonstrated DB2 database backup and data recovery experience. Demonstrated DB2 SQL report writing experience.

·         Medium skill level and experience is required for the following:

·         Informix database analytical and decision making skills. Demonstrated Informix SQL database configuration, administration, performance tuning, backup and data recovery experience. Demonstrated Informix SQL report writing experience. Demonstrated knowledge of Red Hat Linux system administration skills.

·         Low skill level and experience is required for the following:

·         Demonstrated MS SQL database configuration, administration, performance tuning, backup and data recovery experience. Demonstrated MS SQL report writing experience. Demonstrated MySQL database configuration, administration, performance tuning, backup and data recovery experience. Demonstrated MySQL report writing experience.
