Position: QA Tester

Location: Alpharetta GA

Duration: 9+ months

Need Locals who can do face to face interview

Must Meet each and every required skills

 

The tester is responsible for developing test cases and performing test case execution using the agile methodology against our client's web based application.  Tester will focus on testing Partner Access project.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Utilize requirements, design documents, and test plans to write and execute test cases.  Exploratory and ad hoc testing are required.

• Confer with Product Strategy, Analysis, and Development to identify appropriate plan for issue resolution when requirements are incomplete.

• Validate data through both the front end application UI and the backend database.

• Troubleshoot and submit defects via the ClearQuest & Rally defect tracking tools.

• Escalate blocking issues to Project Lead or Management.

• Report status, track time, and log test cases executed.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 6+ years of QA experience

• 2+ yrs of Agile experience

• 2+ yrs of Web Services testing 

• Testing of Restful services / JSON is a must. Need someone that is comfortable building custom JSON requests.

• Experience working with SoapUI

• Someone that can explain differences between XML and JSON

• Excellent communication and analytical skills

• Team player

• Manual testing experience

• Back-end testing experience

• Good SQL writing experience (selects, joins, etc)

• Experience working in a fast paced environment

• Self-motivated

• Automation experience

• Experience in QTP

• Experience with BPT process

• Experience with VB scripting

• Experience with Groovy scripting.

HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS:

• Testing experience with Human Capital Management, Employment Benefit systems, Payroll and HR systems
