I am urgently looking for JavaScript/Python Developer in NYC, NY. Please go through with the requirement and let me know if you have any consultant for this requirement!

 

Job Description:

 

·         The ability to write any component in vanilla JavaScript, but the intelligence to leverage existing libraries when it makes sense.

·         Some libraries we currently use include jQuery, Backbone, and RequireJS, so familiarity with some or all of these is preferred.

·         Efficient, well-structured use of HTML tags and CSS selectors/properties.

·         Up-to-date with the latest HTML and CSS standards.

·         Knowledge of version control (preferably GIT).

·         General front end development experience, specifically in support of the user experience & user preferences.

·         Knowledge and previous coding experience in python. Specifically the ability to understand an existing python script to help resolve backend issues in Splunk or create new scripts in support of Splunk development.

·         Coding knowledge of django: specifically how the language can be used in concert with javascript.

·         This will be important in coming up to speed with the Splunk web framework structure.

·         Specific interpersonal skills we are looking for:

·         The desire and capability to knowledge share and explain concepts and best practices for javascript and general front end development.

·         An interest in working on a fast-paced team using agile development practices.

·         Aptitude to re-prioritize tasks as the Splunk environment grows and user preferences expand.

·         Can generate innovative ideas and implement these ideas to solve complex problems.

·         Ability to consistently deliver results to meet demanding deadlines.

·         Self-starter who can work independently with little supervision.

·         A desire to learn Splunk. (if the candidate has not already worked with Splunk)
