Position Description:

Our Premier downtown Chicago client is seeking  a lead/senior contract Java developer. The ideal candidate will have experience with Java open source technologies – specifically with Spring framework (Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Webservice, Spring Security etc).

 

This individual will have experience working with a broad spectrum of technologies predominantly based on Java/J2EE platform (various web servers, application servers, databases, source control and build technologies, design patterns, various open source technologies etc.). He/she should be comfortable working on both frontend and backend technologies; and capable of designing applications from scratch by applying various design patterns.
