Job Title: Project Manager III - Global Planning Tools
Location: San Francisco, CA 94113 (ONSITE ONLY)
Duration: 12 Month -- Long Term Contract
Start: ASAP

- The PM must understand and have experience in customer demand planning needs for retail and merchandising systems​ and must be an excellent communicator who is able to interface with high-level executives with ease. 

MUST HAVE:

·         5 – 8 years of experience

·         Experience with planning tools and enterprise planning tools

·         Extensive background with multiple million dollar projects

·         Outstanding communication skills are essential

·         Ability to work with all personality types and interface with C-Level Executives

·         Professional demeanor  

 

 

Position Summary:

Seeking a long-term contract Project Manager to join the Global Planning team for a large-scale project which involves migrating from AS400 to Sterling. The goal is to expand the line of stores, increase revenue, reduce cycle times, improve forecast accuracy, optimize inventory, leverage production efficiencies, reap transportation savings and improve customer satisfaction.

 

Job Description:

The PM must understand and have experience in customer demand planning needs for retail and merchandising systems and have the ability determine what to produce to satisfy those particular needs.

 

·         Interface with Executive Team (C-Level) and end-users on a weekly basis

·         Prepare: Monthly forecasts AND weekly budget and updates

·         Ensure Tight Control of Scope and convey this is in daily meetings

·         Control the roll out of timelines

·         Work with enterprise tools

·         Drive the discovery of markets and location of markets

·         Determine and articulate the supply needs

·         Forecast product demand

 

Experience in any of the following tools:

*TXT Integrated and Collaborative Planning (previous: Marble Lake)

*JustEnough Merchandise Planning

7thonline Wholesale Solution

Causometrix

Epicor Merchandise Planning

Galleria

IBM Merchandise Assortment and Planning

Island Pacific Retail Software

Micros Retail Merchandise Planning
