Job Title: SAP HANA Architect

Location: Milpitas, CA

Duration: 3 months contract to Hire

Job description/Required skills

•Deep understanding of Key Business Functional process across SAP MM, PP and a high level exposure to other SAP functional areas

•SAP HANA certified in application development

•Experience of working on HANA projects related to Business Suite on HANA – ECC/CRM/SCM/APO

•Experience of  working on at least 2 data base migration to HANA projects

•Proven ability to lead in blueprint and design sessions, review solution options and provide recommendations while communicating the benefits, risks, and constraints to both the business and IT stakeholders

•Maintains effective communication and working relationships with customers and project team members. 

•Identifies and implements the technical approach to be used on the project and manages the system development process.

•Develops system review schedules, audits and acceptance tests for each phase of project. 

•Prepares and presents oral and/or written technical reports and project presentations. 

•Organizes and conducts project team meetings between Onsite and Offshore. 

•Identifies System design alternatives, researches existing Systems in the marketplace and recommends viable IT solutions. 

•Ability to review and gather business requirements and interpret these into an architectural design and information model in SAP HANA environment

•Data modeling skills including 3rd NF, Dimensional and other techniques using various modeling tools

•Experience with the architecture, design, development and testing of Data integration/acquisition process

•Experience with multiple relational, dimensional, and MOLAP databases

•Proficient Knowledge on SQL and database procedural languages such as PLSQL and T-SQL

•Experience with database performance tuning

•Exposure to multiple Data Integration tools (including ETL and data replication tools)

•Experience with SAP HANA Enterprise in following areas preferred

oInformation Modeling

oTable/Views Design

oData Provisioning

oKnowledge of Administration and operation including but not limited to monitoring, backup and restore, security and user management

oPAL and HANA LIVE

oReal-Time Replication (SLT and/or Sybase Replication Server)

•Ability to work in multiple environments and be able to prioritize and multi-task with a consistent track record of meeting deadlines while optimizing client satisfaction

•Ability to write technical white papers for solutions and deliver them in seminars via speaker sessions

Additional Skills

•Experience with project management and team lead skills

•Exposure to cloud based implementations in addition to in-premise scenario is desired

•Exposure to SAP BW data architecture a plus

•Experience with ABAP programming a major plus

•Experience with MDX desired

•Exposure to SAP BusinessObjects Data Services for data extraction is desired

•Ability and desire to mentor/coach others in a team environment

•Ability and desire to support sales team

•Ability and desire to share expertise with internal and external audiences

•Ability to demonstrate leadership skills through a variety of activities.
