Job Title: Software Engineer

Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration : 6+ Months

 

Responsibilities include:

Working with project managers, technical leads, business owners and analysts through the whole SDLC: understanding systems requirements, designing and writing code, unit testing and documentation. 

Developing applications using several architectures ranging from multi-tier/client-server to batch and web, using technologies such as Java and .Net

Providing production support on existing systems and resolving operational issues while working with other support staff located across the globe.

Building strong relationships with the business through delivery, communication and domain knowledge.

Required technical skills include:

Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (including Agile)• Solid understanding of object-oriented development principles

Solid understanding of data structures:

Solid experience of: Core Java (1.6 preferred) and J2EE Spring (Spring MVC, Remoting) 

Hibernate Multi-Threaded distributed applications XML Web Services (Soap & Rest)

Experience working with relational databases (e.g. Sybase, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)

Data Modeling Writing complex stored procedures

Candidates with the following experience will have a distinct advantage:

Developing with JMS & Camel
