Job Title: Security Analyst III
Location: Englewood, CO
Duration : 9 Months
Key Functions:
Drives and completes the development, dissemination and maintenance of Enterprise Information Security Plan and IT Security Policies. Lead and completes in the implementation of planned initiatives related to one or more key security functions: risk and issue assessment and remediation of key corporate security vulnerabilities, supporting security awareness, design and review of enterprise network security, and standardization of user access request and reviews.
Active lead and participation in implementation and support of password vault solution in ITS setting
Responsibilities:
Completes the analysis of various components of the IT environment helping to identify areas requiring remediation or improvement from a security perspective
Completes in the development and advancement of Information Security policies, standards and procedures in conjunction with the application, technology, and security teams responsible for the day-to-day systems configuration and operation
Defines requirements pertaining to security of key corporate assets within the IT organization
Provides ongoing review of existing processes and configuration standards for compliance with IT security policies and standards
Collaborate with department staff and personnel in IT departments to coordinate risk and compliance related activities
Provides ongoing communication to management related to identified security risks, required policy changes, and general improvement initiatives. May work on multiple implementations at any given time.
Maintains ongoing awareness of current IT security policies and standards as well as security industry standards/regulations
Conducts data analysis around various security solutions
Provides Level 2/3 support as needed
Some travel required (10-25%)
Skills, Requirements, and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education.
4+ years of relevant security experience required.
Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
Relevant industry certification such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, Vendor or ITIL Certifications preferred.
General understanding of HIPAA, Federal and State Information Protection and Privacy regulations and other relevant regulations pertaining to the healthcare industry preferred.
Experience with password vault solutions such as CyberArk preferred.
Experience with server security, active directory, and/or server/database administration preferred.

Description:
**Resource must be local to Denver area, no travel is required nor will it be reimbursed. Please only submit local candidates.**
Security Contracts Analyst - For National based contracts:
Construct custom report to pull all National contracts with BAAs that have origination date prior to July 2010.
Review each contract and BAA to see if 03/12/10 version is in place. (Based on number this will be VERY time consuming.)
List those that do not have current version
Work with Meditract rep to notify primary owner to obtain new version. Will see if Meditract can construct some canned verbiage for notification and tracking.
Tract receipt of these into system to ensure bringing contract/BAA into compliance. (Required by HIPAA Omnibus Rule by Sept 2014.
Identify contracts that have IT Security Amendment language included
Identify contracts that should have IT Security Amendment language included but do not. DELIVERABLES
List of National contracts that need the new version of BAA submitted to vendors for re-signature.
List of National contracts that need IT Security Amendment language added
Facilitate sending out the new BAAs to identified vendors.
Develop a process to prioritize addition of missing IT Security Amendment language based on vendor risk
Track receipt of signed BAAs and file in Meditract system with contract. (Work with Wendy to ensure consistent process).
Identification of other BAA and IT Security Amendment process gaps based on the project.
