Designing the enhanced and expanded hybrid Exchange and Google messaging environment is required during the period where client is running both Exchange and Google. As the corporation is migrated to the full Google Apps suite there are several integration components that must be designed and scripted to enable co-existence to enable as seamless as possible customer experience. In addition there are components of the existing Exchange environment that must be supported.

Position Scope
· Designing the enhanced and expanded hybrid Exchange and Google messaging environment, concentrating on the Exchange arena
· Partnering with the Google engineers to facilitate the integration of the two messaging environments
· Designing the integration components that must be configured to enable co-existence
· Designing and scripting required to facilitate integration and migration
· Provide support for the Exchange/Google hybrid messaging services in a global environment supporting over 15,000 mailboxes, 4000 mobile devices and 8000 Email Archive users
Responsibilities
· Assists in establishing the strategic direction, vision, and service roadmap for client's Global Messaging Service
· Designing and developing the scripts needed to facilitate Exchange data and definition migration, specifically PowerShell scripting utilizing Active Directory and Exchange modules
· Provide architectural design, implementation and support in an Exchange 2007/2010 environment.
· Designing and engineering the migration of legacy data from Symantec Enterprise Vault to Google GMAIL
· Management and resolution of service delivery issues from start through resolution, with the sense of urgency appropriate for an enterprise messaging environment
· Off hours problem resolution and escalations for messaging and collaboration service interruptions as needed
· Requirements gathering through implementation & transition to operations
· Provide oversight and guidance for sourced offshore support staff
Experience/Qualifications
· 10+ years of proven technology experience
· Proven track record in designing and sustaining a Global Messaging Infrastructure
· Advanced Active Directory 2003/2008 and Exchange 2010 knowledge and experience
Technical experience with the following:
ActiveSync, EWS & Outlook Anywhere
Blackberry server
Microsoft Universal Access Gateway (UAG)
Symantec Enterprise Vault
Mobile Device Management
Google Apps for Business
· Outstanding communication skills. Must be able to effectively write, speak and present to all levels of management.
· Experience with managing outsourced resources
· Experience in one or more Internet cloud based service.
