POSITION
Mobile Tester
Union, NJ
6+ month contract
$50 per hr
The ideal candidate should have experience testing under various application environments including web-based (e-Commerce), Mobile and client/server. The candidate must also be a hands on QA tester and be able to effectively and cooperatively interface with all levels of management and staff.
Rate: $45 to $50/hr on c2c all incl.
Required Experience:
- Ability to review and understand Business Requirements, Functional specifications and system design documents with the goal of performing a structured validation of all testable conditions.
- Must be capable of working independently or as part of a QA/Project team, as required by the project.
- Experience with front end, back end & integration testing (understand where data goes & understanding integration between one system to the other).
- Proven experience preparing and executing Manual Test Scripts/Cases and documenting the results.
- Back-end database testing experience required.
- Solid ability to create SQL queries and analyze the results.
- Experience using defect tracking systems and general knowledge of defect processing and control.
- Retail industry experience is important.
- Very strong oral and communication skills.
Desirable Experience:
- Exposure to JDA retail system and/or Point of Sale is a plus.
- AS/400 based systems a plus.
