Job Description

DW BI Administration Fundamentals

DW BI Administration Tools and Techniques

Working with IIS, Tomcat and URLs

Managing IIS, Tomcat and DW BI Services.

 

DW BI Administration

Building and Configuring DW BI Servers, Managing the licenses, Service Pack and Patches.

Application upgrades from lower versions to higher versions

Vendor coordination for problem incidents.

Installation of Teradata, Composite, telnet, OLEDB, MSSQL and Oracle connections.

Configuration of LDAP authentication, Single sign-on.

Maintaining Application Health, Performance and monitoring.

Outage communications.

Creating and managing Project folders, Group and users

Applying security on folder/subfolder/reports/universes as per Project requirement.

CI creation and update in CMDB for AMER/EMEA/APAC.

Deployment through Import Wizard and Promotional management (LCM)

Auditing and Universe creation for various requirements.

Report & publication scheduling and report bursting.

Lead the password change activities for BI servers.

Participated in MSB activities.

 

DW BI Service Administration

Creating and maintaining of service account.

Creating and maintaining of NAS shared path.

Repository/integration service creation.

 

Performance, Optimization, and Maintenance

Performance Tuning Root cause analysis and Monitoring

Monitoring IIS, Tomcat and CMS alerts.

Refresh of services on requirement

Environment Alert, Disk space monitoring and CMS logs

 

Platform:

Business Objects XI R2, BOXI R3.1 and BI4.0
