Job Title : Cloud Solution Architect
Location : Washington, DC
Duration : 6+Months contract
Required Experience :
· Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent, with 10+years of relevant experience.
· He must have ability to lead and guide the definition of technology based business solutions ensuring the appropriate and effective use of technology as a means for attaining business value.
· He should ensure solutions are consistent with clients architectural direction and consist of approved technologies and reusable assets
· You must have Research and evaluate emerging and maturing technologies to facilitate the identification, introduction and exploitation of cloud technologies
· Provide coaching, mentoring and consulting to raise the overall technical competency of client staff and to disseminate an understanding of cloud architecture
Skills and Experience:
· Prior experience of moving applications to Amazon Cloud is a plus
· Prior experience with Cloud Foundry implementations
· Understanding of Enterprise integrations like LDAP, Active Directory, Encryption and Key Management, ORG Hierarchy, ESSO
· Prior experience of Enterprise Integration with SAS Applications
· Exceptional component architecture and OO programming skills; thorough understanding of distributed computing concepts: SOA, web services and usage of common design patterns
· Proven experience with designing, architecting, and implementing enterprise applications and systems
· Proven experience with implementing Service-Oriented Architectures, messaging, and middleware
· Exceptional in EA methodologies, standardization, reference architecture development, roadmap development, or architecture and design
· Experience with supporting virtualization environments, including VMware, Xen, Hyper-V, or KVM-2+ years of experience with Cloud technologies, including Amazon EC2, Google, or Microsoft Azure and Cloud application migration
· Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
· Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail
· Strong work ethic with good time management with ability to work with diverse teams and lead meetings
