Position: System Analyst Manager
Location: Herndon, VA
Contract: 6 months+
System Analyst Manager
As a monitoring implementer you will implement and validate monitoring solutions using the DynaTrace monitoring tool given a set of monitoring requirements. You may be required to install/manage monitoring agents and you may also be required to develop Unix/Windows scripts to execute from the monitoring tool. The position requires you to apply troubleshooting skills and deliver high quality work on time. A B.S. degree in Computer Science/related field, or equivalent work experience is required. 8-10 years of experience in the field.
Required experience:
• 2+ years implementing application performance monitoring solutions
• 2-4 years Unix (command level or admin expertise)
• 1-3 years Windows server experience.
•Experience with the Mortgage Industry, Underwriting concepts/finance
Desired technology experience:
• Networking and Storage concepts
• Relational database concepts and experience with SQL queries
• Autosys or other job scheduling system experience
• DynaTrace monitoring tool
Experience working in a fast-paced production environment and the ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time with changing priorities is highly desirable. Position requires candidate to be a self-directed team player with excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), organization, and time management skills.
