Job Title               Netezza Solution Architect

Location               New Jersey

Duration              6-8 months

 

Primary Skill     

·         At least 12+ years of industry-related experience, or IT experience supporting complex applications/programs

·         Yrs of Experience 12-15 years 

 

Description        Mandatory Technical /Functional Skills

Primary requirement:

·         At least 12+ years of industry-related experience, or IT experience supporting complex applications/programs

·         5+ years of Netezza Architecture/ Design experience and consulting experience in Netezza-based data warehousing transformation projects

·         Strong expertise on roadmap planning for Data Migration to IBM Netezza Appliance

·         Strong experience in Netezza along with UNIX scripting [like Nzload, Nzsql, External table, Temp table]

·         Hands on experience in performance tuning of queries and other ETL data warehouse technologies

 

Other related requirement:

·         Bachelor's Degree in IT related field, or equivalent technical training/certification; work experience that demonstrates technical competency may be substituted for formal education

·         Extensive experience required in a data warehousing - ETL / BI environment

·         Knowledge of DataStage (preferably v8.7)

·         Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and technical skills

·         Experience with complete application development life-cycle, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, coding, testing and deployment
