Required background:
· BA/BS degree or 4 years of equivalent working experience
· Solid shell scripting and Unix/AIX utility scripting experience
· Solid experience with J2EE deployments, preferably in a UNIX/AIX environment
· Demonstrated understanding of the installation and administration of java based web and application servers. (e.g. Apache, JBoss, Web Logic, Tomcat.)
· Experience with java garbage collection
· Solid shell scripting and Unix/AIX utility scripting experience
· Solid experience with J2EE deployments, preferably in a UNIX/AIX environment
· A fundamental understanding of basic networking concepts, especially in the realm of TCP/IP.
· Strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
· Ability to provide on-call support.
