Role: Performance Tester
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: Long Term
Responsibilities include:
· Work with digital performance engineering testers, developers and architects to design and validate system designs for performance and scalability
· Support investigatory exercises with technical staff for future platform enhancements, and for new business feature deployments
· Provide support and guidance to other team members in your area of expertise
· 5+ years of experience in information technology with an emphasis on application architecture or performance engineering
· 3+ years of technical delivery experience; architecture or application development must be at least three of those years
· Prior performance architecture experience, with experience in profiling and analysis
· Strong analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills required
· Leadership skills required
· Experience with a variety of technology platforms and technologies (Javascript, Java, Linux, MySQL, Tomcat, Apache)
· Experience with browser and mobile user interface analysis tools (such as HTTPWatch, YSlow, dynaTrace)
· Experience with a variety of internet profiling and analysis tools (Willey, dynaTrace, AppInternals, AppDynamics)
· Strong web technology understanding (networks, SSL, http, browsers, cookies, html/xhtml, and javascript)
· Retail financial services product experience is a plus
Skill Set (Performance Tester)
· Load Runner - Min 5 years working experience.
· Protocol Knowledge- HTTP/HTML, Ajax Click and Script, SAP (HTTP/HTML is mandatory)
· Performance monitoring - Sitescope, Wily Intrscope, NMON, Oracle AWR (Atleast one monitoring tool knowledge)
· Strong in LoadRunner scripting and Correlation concepts.
· Server side knowledge (Memory, CPU, Network, IO)
· Profiling tools knowledge.
· Performance requirement gathering - Load Modeling, work load analysis
