Position: GE SmallWorld

Location: Boston, MA or Hartford, CT

Duration: 3 months

 

Profile for Small world Developer/Analyst:

3-5 yrs. of experience in software development/GIS development.

Extensive Programming experience in languages like MAGIK, C++ or Java.

Good Knowledge of GIS Fundamentals and Concepts

Strong object-oriented programming concepts.

Experience on GE Smallworld 4.x, Electric Office 4.x suite of products is essential

Experience with Design Manager, Power On and SIAS platform is preferred

Experience in Database programming

Should have good domain knowledge of Electrical Networks, Over ground / Underground Assets, Feeders etc.

Ability to follow a defined design, development, & test process

Experience with unit and system testing, and writing documentation

Excellent problem solving skills
