Requirements:
· Advanced abilities in full Microsoft BI Stack 2008
Strong Experience in SSAS with T-SQL
Job Accountabilities:
· Creating, modifying, deploying and browsing Cubes with multiple fact measures and multiple dimension hierarchies in SSAS. The larger the cube, the better (millions if not billions of rows of data)
· Design and deploy Tabular, Matrix, Chart, Linked, Drill-down, and Drill-through Reports with drop down list of parameterized options in SSRS and subscription reports
· Create database objects like tables, indexes, views, user defined functions, and stored procedures to acquire data for reporting purposes
· Some DBA tasks such as creating, scheduling, running jobs, and troubleshooting failed jobs. Review and potential resolution of resource bottlenecks
· Experience in SSIS packages applying various data transformations and migrating data from various data sources like Flat Files, Excel, Oracle, and SharePoint
· Gathering customer needs and developing business requirements and resolving db/rpt design issues
