The Programmer is responsible for analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all 

application code owned by the Application Team.

This resource will provide experience and expertise in the development  and support of the PA Cancer 

Registry systems and data. 

Experience developing and deploying complex applications using Visual Studio 2010

Experience developing and deploying complex applications using Visual Studio 2008

Experience developing and deploying complex applications using Visual Studio 2005

Experience using ASP.NET

Experience using VB.NET

Experience using XML

Experience using Web Services

Experience using AJAX

Experience using JAVA Script

Experience using Microsoft SQL Server 2005

Experience using Microsoft SQL Server 2008+

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Deep modeling, design and coding skills

Proficient in documenting process, procedures and requirements

Must be detail oriented, have good problem solving and research skills and understand the importance and 

benefits of data quality

Good interpersonal and presentation skills
