1. Role:
Senior Citrix Engineer - 3 month contract in Plano
Information:
Client is migrating data centers and is doing a new build and will duplicate in the new data center. They do have a working model.
Looking for someone with moderate complexity of Citrix environments who has built out and designed similar environments from scratch.
Will be building from scratch 1 farm and about 25 servers with it.
They do not have in house Citrix skills at this time.
Position will be handle the build out, support for testing, go live, and post production support.
The client is looking to get started in the next 3 to 4 weeks on this project.
CCEA desired but CCA is a minimum
2. Role:
Citrix Consultant - 3 to 4 month contract located in Plano
***Some work may be able to be completed remotely.
Required Skills:
10+ years Windows Administration and Engineering experience
8+ years Citrix administration and Engineering experience
Strong experience upgrading/migrating Citrix in enterprise environments
Ability to act independently as a true consultant, no just a contractor, including: gather, confirm, and document requirements, confirm estimated scope of work and timeframe, recommend best practices for improvements
Experience building Citrix Farms for enterprise customers from the ground up
Document and present progress and milestones
Preferred Skills:
Windows and/or Citrix certifications
Scripting experience
ITIL or other industry best practices knowledge
Big 4 consulting experience
Responsibilities:
Perform discovery on existing Citrix Environment
Create project plan for migration based on industry best practices for similar enterprise environments
Gain consensus/approval on upgrade plans, update scope/effort/timelines as needed
Perform upgrade
Perform knowledge transfer and post go-live support
Communicate with necessary client contacts regarding progress, issues, changes, milestones, deadlines, etc.
