Title: Data Modeler
Location: Los Angels,CA
Duration: 6+ Months

Responsibilities:  

·         Analyzes, develops, tests and implements database designs in support of Enterprise           Business Intelligence technology requirements 

·         Performs data modeling, logical and physical database design 

·         Includes maintenance of ERwin models, ER Diagrams, standards and procedures  

·         Organize and track daily DDL delivery 

·         Test and validate quality of DDL and Grants before delivery

 Education, Experience and Skills Required:  

·         5- 8 Years of Data Modeling experience is desired 

·         Experience with Rational & Multidimensional Databases is a must  

·         Forward and Reverse engineering is a must; Compare is a plus   

·         Insurance Industry experience is a plus 

·         Proficient in Logical & Physical Data Modeling 

·         ERwin proficiency is a must; ERwin R8 is a plus  

·         Hands on experience with DB2 is preferred 

·         Experience with robust, operationally sound production environments is preferred 

·         Experience with large/very large databases is preferred 

·         Experience with large scale development and integration projects 

·         Knowledge of software project lifecycle is a must 

·         Experience with change management procedures is a must 

·         Experience with deployment of database changes is a must 

·         Demonstrated ability to investigate and learn new technologies and products is preferred  

·         Detail-oriented and organized  

·         Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

·         Team player, willing to work a flexible schedule when needed
