Analytical Problem Solving
SQL expertise - ETL/SSIS Development, Dataset Join Querying
Excel Business Intelligence - Pivot Tables SQL Integration, Vlookups, etc.
Financial knowledge of cost centers, profit centers, internal orders
Understanding of multiple organizational taxonomies
Cross team collaboration
Analytical Problem Solving
SQL expertise - ETL/SSIS Development, Dataset Join Querying
Excel Business Intelligence - Pivot Tables SQL Integration, Vlookups, etc.
Financial knowledge of cost centers, profit centers, internal orders
Understanding of multiple organizational taxonomies
Cross team collaboration
Responsibilities will entail:
Monthly Billing Activities
Bill Staging and Review
Apptio dataset upload
Data integrity monitoring and escalation
Ensuring minimal fallout across all sources
Mapping table expansion/maintenance
Journal entry XLS pivot preparation for finance each month
Driving billing review with Capacity Planners
Drafting billing communications/newsletters
On-premises Dataset ETL Infrastructure/Sustained Engineering
Creating/sustaining ETLs for each source with data integrity steps in place
Building asset history database for key billing/org changes
Enhancing asset audit pivots across multiple Config Mgmt DBs (CMDBs)
Publishing new datasets to customer API views for downstream consumption
Org Hierarchy Management
Handling new customer onboarding
Updating leaders, finance managers, ISM contacts, etc.
Managing cost centers and IO# alignment, ensuring validity of all cost elements
Managing org commitment levels
Billing Project Execution
Driving Billing Stay Healthy
Ensuring source server health/integrity
Optimizing ongoing data integrity
Implementing Azure Registration Migration Consolidation
Revamping Org Taxonomy across business segments
Billing Service Management
Handling ongoing billing inquiries
Delivering custom report requests
Responding to operational incidents/escalating when needed
Auditing upstream bills against customer billing each month to ensure billing integrity
