Position : Siebel Consultant
Location: Newark, NJ
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Job Description:
This is an advanced position working with limited supervision to develop, implement and maintain complex technology solutions.
Position is for Siebel EAI/EIM configuration specialist.
**At least 5 years of Siebel Data management experience (8.1 preferred)
Other requirements:
Participation in each phase of at least two full Siebel lifecycle implementations
Strong Siebel EIM configuration/ EAI configuration
Siebel Workflow
Siebel Assignment manager modules
Setting up of the Siebel web services
Siebel scripting and SQL scripting experience
Deep knowledge of the Siebel data model
Experience working with stored procedures, ETL applications (e.g., Informatica), Strong relational database skills / database administration skills in SQL server Preferred.
Siebel Financial Services or Life Sciences experience preferred
**SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2008 experience required.
Review business requirement documents (BRD) and translate into technical specifications
Work from technical specifications to independently develop, modify and maintain moderately complex software products
Perform unit and system testing
Analyze and troubleshoot problems and make recommendations for remediation
Perform Tier Two Production Support as required
Complete regular reports and provide status updates to management
Lead cross functional teams in technical capacity
Lead design/code reviews, architecture discussions, and infrastructure reviews
Manages interactions with external vendors
Directly interacts with internal customers
Assist in monitoring project schedules and cost
Education/Experience:
Requires Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering or MIS) (equivalent work experience may be considered)
Requires working knowledge of object oriented languages
Requires knowledge of relational database management systems
Demonstrates ability to apply structure to a loosely defined problem
Requires demonstrated proficiency in application programming
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills
Requires excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
