Discipline: Operations/SE position – strong focus on Production support for online services with maintained parity across test and perf/stress environments.

Primary focus is on monitoring/monitoring tools with general Systems Engineering experience.

 

Duties/requirements:

 

Systems Center Operations Manager – Strong general knowledge of deployment, administration and maintenance of SCOM 2007 R2 and SCOM 2012 through SP1. Must be able to analyze, create, and maintain management packs with input from multiple team members to support online services across several environments. This role is the primary contact point for all SCOM work and issues.

General Windows 2008 Server administration including patch/compliance management, additional tools as needed. Knowledge of Powershell 2.0-3.0 and Windows Batch Scripting helpful.

Intermediate MS SQL Server 2008 knowledge to support general Ops Manager functionality and additionally provide reporting data for the organization on an as-needed basis.

Interface with Microsoft Global Foundation Services to resolve issues with shared monitoring infrastructure and for asset administration. Guidance for this work will be provided by the operations team."
