Location : Princeton, NJ

Duration : 8+ months

EAD, GC or Citizen only

 

Must have scripting (vb) and worked in Microsoft environment (active directory)

Job Description:

 

Work Summary
The candidate filling this IT Services Consultant position will perform as a member of the IPO Identity Services team. The Candidates primary role will be to support the Director of Information Security and Sr. IT Architect responsible for supporting Active Directory services outside of normal contracted responsibilities.

Responsibilities
• Transition AD infrastructure from EAO Lab (to Cloud Compute whenever possible)
• Assume day-day engineering responsibilities for AD above/beyond CSC contracted responsibilities.
• Optimize CSC support
• Participate in architectural discussions and support design efforts as needed
• Serve as a project resource as required
• Escalated support for issues in Test through Prod directory environments
• Consult with application teams requiring directory services
• Manage and support directory data needs, including schema management, object management, and test data management.
• Assist in managing operational support of Identity Services

Experience: The ideal candidate must have 3 years experience with LDAP/S services. Working knowledge of Oracle Identity Management suite experience is a plus. Experience working on large-scale projects, deployment and operational support experience is also preferred. Excellent troubleshooting skills, including the demonstrated ability to analyze, diagnose, resolve, escalate, and document issues.

Preferred Qualifications
1. 3 years of LDAP
2. 3 years of Authentication and Authorization Tools
3. 3 years of experience with implementing Security Policies in directory environments
4. Excellent team collaboration skills
5. Working knowledge of Oracle IdM suite
6. Knowledge of Remedy SR / RFC / Service Desk Ticket systems

Additional Preferred Skill Requirements:
• Knowledge of ETS environments and networks
• Java development with Security / Directory
• ITIL Certification
• MCSE or equivalent directory service certification
• Experience with PowerDesigner

Overview of this silo of the security group:
The Identity Server group uses Oracle Identity Management (OIM) and handles user access/IDs in the system, etc.


§ New position to help out with the workload to allow the manager and his peer to concentrate on the execution and strategy for the group.
§ Strong LDAP experience is required.
§ Really good understanding of complex Active Directories although not a "Microsoft" person. ETS is using AD in a generic way and it's not integrated with MicroSoft like most AD environments.
§ Part of this role is to consult with the application teams on the set up of the directories and interact with CSC who will be supporting the directories. Somewhat of a liaison to serve on the ETS side, advocate for the application teams and interface with the CSC Architects. Any experience with the tools used to interact with CSC will be helpful: Remedy, change process, incident management, etc.
§ Initiatives: Active Directory upgrade, re-architecting the directories, Upgrading from Windows 2003 to 2008 or 2012 (hasn't been determined yet).
§ Operations and Maintenance for identity management services. ETS is using Oracle Identity Management (OIM)

ETS is an industry leader in testing/educational products and services. ETS is a laid back environment with realistic deadlines on its IT projects. There is always an opportunity to go perm after 6 months for all RTH contracts and 6-12 months on all positions not initially classified as RTH. ETS is very diligent about converting people to perm employees after a period of time.
