Skill 1 - Storage
Should have a sound Knowledge on the concepts of Storage Area Network (SAN) knowledge on differences between NAS and SAN. Experience of managing SAN Desktop and Director switches. Experience on managing of Logical Units (LUN). Should be familiar with Business Copy (BC), Continuous access (CA), Information Life cycle Management (ILM) concepts. Should Have experience in installing & configuring Backups using tape libraries. Knowledge on configuring zones.Should have hands on experience with Fiber Channel (FC) technology products.Experience Storage trouble shooting. Aware of i-SCSI concepts. Should have knowledge of backup solutions and functionality such as IBM TSM, HP Data Protector, Veritas Net backup etc. Should have experience in backup strategies and rotation.
Skill2 - System Software Design
Skill3 - Systems Programming
Comfortable with C (especially pointers) and basics of Unix/Linux/Any OS.Comfortable with user space programming. Familiarity with building, installing& bringing up kernel modules/programs. Should have worked in at least one project with exposure to kernel programming.
