· Performs extremely complex Oracle database administration assignments essential to the production and development environments.
· Assignments include installations as well as upgrades and patching of Oracle Standalone and RAC databases.
· Experience with Oracle 9i, 10g and 11g is necessary.
· Other duties include the ability to work with database analysis, design, and development, security support, and performance monitoring and tuning.
· Experience with High Available systems ( HA) and the use of failover systems with Data Guard and Golden gate is also required.
· Migration experience for both Oracle database software to 11g as well as database design and structure is also needed.
· Good Written and verbal communication skills to be able to define system needs and plan tasks will also be key.
· This must be a team player as well as a solution focused individual.
· Must be able to handle a wide range of tasks and specialties.
