MUST HAVE:

Please have your consultant list his years of experience and his level of expertise (Expert, Advanced, Intermediate Beginner, or None)beside each of the skills below:

• 8 years of experience in Data Architecture and Solutions in DWH projects
• MS SQL Server 2005/2008
• Knowledge of database architecture of MS SQL Server
• 3 years of experience with mid- to large-scale software architectures
• Knowledge of Data Warehouse Concepts
• Knowledge of data, master data, and metadata related standards, processes and technology
• Experience defining, designing and implementing logical and physical data models
• Experience in SQL and query tuning to meet strict performance SLA's
• Source control and configuration management
• Service Oriented Architecture methodology
• Java/J2EE and/or .Net development environment
• Experience designing and implementing reporting data sources and reports
• Experience working cross functionally to deliver resolutions of technical, procedural, and operational issues
• Exposure to diverse set of established and emerging software

DUTIES:

• As a Senior Product Services DB Developer you will be responsible for providing technical and data leadership to the application development groups developing software services and business processes that will be enabled on the next generation service oriented architecture solution.
• You will work with peer software development team members in our IT department, design data architectures, designs and builds relational databases.
• Develop strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database.
• Some of your key duties / responsibilities will include: 
• Understand the business specifications and convert them and be able to design and develop Databases, Data Warehouses and Multidimensional Databases.
• Need to handle large databases and/or data warehousing
• Handle current version of MS SQL Server, Advanced SQL and TSQL, Data Modeling/ Database Design
• Establish data standards for data systems as a model for the interactions between the systems.
• Evolve data models to meet new and changing business requirements
• Support packaged data structures and any additional modeling of database tables, indexes, and views
• Schedule and participate in the data model / enterprise architecture reviews
• Creating and implementing physical databases from Logical Data Models
• Establish data standards for data systems as a model for the interactions between the systems.
• Data management, versioning of data, backups, etc
• Using database-monitoring tools for database optimization purposes
• Understand Data-modeling, Design and implementation SQL Server functions, stored procedures, triggers and views
• Writing / Modifying ad-hoc SQL queries, Stored Procedures as per the requirement
• Generating scripts that automate complex tasks/ jobs and tweak dataMaximizing the use of modern enterprise integration technologies to accelerate time to market
• Ensuring high degree of quality and consistency in all deliverables by providing and actively participating in appropriate levels of unit testing, documentation, design and code reviews.
• Training and supporting development teams and operations.
