Oracle Functional Consultant – Quoting/Order Management/Receivables
Duration: 9 months
Location: Atlanta, GA.
Position Summary
Conduct senior-level business process analysis, needs assessments and designs in order to align information technology solutions with business delivery initiatives in the Quoting, Order Management and Receivables/Billing domains and experience with Oracle EBS R12.
Key Responsibilities
Provide techno-functional and business solutions that meet user needs with strong understanding on the Oracle EBS modules Quoting, Order Management, and Receivables for the software/technology industry.
Working experience in guided selling model environments. Ability to understand business requirements and translate high-level business requirements to functional specifications for IT and manage changes to those specifications.
Negotiate agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between the business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation.
Possess expert knowledge of the business unit(s) they are supporting, understand IT systems and capabilities, help educate the business on best practices.
Create business requirements and other documents in support of projects.
Conduct business process analysis, needs assessments and preliminary cost/benefit analysis in order to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
Lead process configuration design activities.
Responsible for functional designs and provide configuration solutions for business requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned
Experience Requirements
• At least 10 years of functional implementation experience in Oracle eBusiness Suite with at least 4-5 years experience implementing Quoting, Order Management, Receivables.
• Experience with Sales Contracts will be a plus.
• Experience implementing solutions in Claims Processing or similar business environments
• Experience designing Pricing / Billing / Metering solutions
• At least 2 end to end implementation experience in Oracle R12.
• Ability to understand the selling model and suggest Oracle R12 functionality to match the requirements.
• Experience designing Receivables integrations for transactional billing. Techno-functional skills will be a plus.
• Excellent client facing communication skills.
