Title: Automation Engineer

Duration:  6 months

Location: Sugarland, Houston, TX

LOCALS ONLY

Experience Required: 7+ years

 

 

Detailed Job Description:

·         Demonstrated experience to learn a new domain of knowledge and apply it to test complex multi-tier software systems

·         An understanding or experience testing software for Electric Utility Distribution Systems a plus.

·         Manual Testing

 

Mandate/Must skills required:

·         Experience testing application software for Windows Desktop and Windows Server

·         Experience with Linux or AIX with a basic understanding of Unix commands, and scripts

·         Experience with Oracle or other SQL software with a working understanding of SQL commands and scripts

·         Expertise in developing and maintaining an overall test methodology and strategy for a large system

·         Expertise in writing, executing, and maintaining test plans and test cases

·         Good experience in Effort Estimations

·         Good knowledge of C#, .Net, SQL, VB Scrip, Unix commands, Unix scripts

·         Good experience in testing XML message based systems and Web Application Testing.

·         Good experience with ALM (Quality Centre) or TFS Test Manager or both
