Currently, I am recruiting candidates for one of my requirement as mentioned below

Job Title	Linux Performance Engineer
Project Location	Dallas TX
Duration	6 months /Contract

 

 
Skills Required and Job Description:

MOI:-Telephonic followed by face to face   Need only local candidate Total end to end application performance engineering, NOT just from a QA perspective Strong ability to analyze, track and understand where the application performance bottlenecks (application or network)are and work with the appropriate engineering groups to resolve Mostly Linux with some Windows Need strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Needs to be able to communicate effectively with technical teams Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or equivalent experience 7+ year experience in the IT Industry Knowledge of environments containing Oracle databases, Websphere, DataPower, Informatica, Apache, SQL Server, IIS, and similar systems. 5+ Years supporting Windows and Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux preferred) Servers Knowledge of Solaris, AIX and other similar systems Knowledge of network technologies such as DNS, Routing, and Subnets Experience leading performance monitoring and follow through successful investigation, analysis and root-cause identification and resolution of issues. Experience with System and Application monitoring tools such as BMC Patrol and Dynatrace is a plus Strong written and oral communication skills Excellent organizational skills to include: scheduling, monitoring, tracking, reporting and follow through. Proven ability to work under pressure and to effectively multitask Demonstrate strong technical and analytical ability Ability to take requirements from multiple sources and develop appropriate solutions Ability to foster a sense of teamwork and cross-functional collaboration Ability to work effectively with partners from varied and diverse backgrounds
