Job Title: Front End Developer (JavaScript, HTML 5, PHP, CSS, etc.)
Location: NYC (Midtown)
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 3-6 months

Need local candidate

• Collaborate with business partners and third party software vendors to gather requirements, design and build the application frontend
• Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
• Experienced in integrating with third party systems via RESTful APIs, MVC framework
• Good understanding of the expected non-functional requirements (volume, concurrent users, etc.) and ensure that the front-end application can meet the non-functional requirements.
• Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's.
• Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.) is needed to be successful in this position.

Desirable:

• Web application development with multi-lingual global applications.
• Familiar with application performance tuning & data caching
• Familiar with cloud hosted applications hosted in AWS & open source software.

Technical Skills and Qualifications:

• JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Web Programming Skills, cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design (UI), PHP, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services (REST/SOAP), Multimedia Content based user experience, API's., BootStrap, Handlebars, Video JS, Justgage
