Position : SOA Architect
Location : Round Rock, TX
Duration : 2 years
Description:
Must have: SOA Architect, OSP, BPEL ; MUST be at Architect level
Operating as an individual contributor or as part of a team (on large complex projects with multiple Architects), interprets and develops client requirements into a solution which aligns with the overarching SOA Architecture. Collaboratively operates across business areas and technical areas to define architecture solutions that represent both business capabilities and the technical architecture roadmap. Contribute to the definition of architectural policies, standards, and procedures for SOA suite of products.
Responsibilities:
· Hands-on Development expertise in BPEL and OSB is a must
· Work on Oracle SOA Suite 11g or 12c framework for designed technical solutions based on business processes
· Work on design, architecture, development and unit testing of web based applications and middleware
· Use BPEL,BPMN and Rules concepts
· Experience in using File Adapter, Database Adapter, FTP adapter and JMS Adapter for integration using Oracle Service Bus and for development of business processes using Oracle BPEL Process Manager
· Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware (BPM, BAM, OSR, OEM,OBR)
· SOA integration with Oracle ERP and REST
· Work on full software development life cycle including writing functional technical specifications, design documentation, QA processes, source control, maintenance and deployment procedures
· Incorporate relevant technical concepts/best practices and components into an enterprise environment
Qualifications:
· Bachelors or higher-level degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline
· Five or more years performing architectural design and development of SOA enterprise applications
· Hands-on experience with the entire software development lifecycle (requirements, design, implementation, integration, testing)
· Strong experience working directly with customers' ability to brainstorm concepts
· Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
· Experience with XML, XSD, XSLT, WSDL and JAVA
· Excellent understanding of design patterns, object construction and application architecture strategies
· Detail-oriented, well organized, able to work independently, and good communication and technical documentation skills
· Expert and proven analysis, judgment, decision making, organizational, and planning skills working in an autonomous and proactive manner, and a desire to continuously learn new skills
· Strong communicator and relationship builder with all levels of the organization
· Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical business colleagues
· Passion and demonstrated ability for continuous process improvement
· Proven ability to meet deadlines
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Strong work ethic, critical thinker
· Specific experience in the intermodal or transportation industries is a plus
· Expertise with full software development life cycle (Waterfall and/or Agile) including writing functional technical specifications, design documentation, QA processes, source control, maintenance and deployment procedures
