Job Requirement:

Responsibilities:

The team is a DevOps team responsible for analyzing, developing, testing, implementing, and documenting software enhancements and fixes to multiple applications. The applications are critical for end users and used 24/7, so they need to be highly available and fault tolerant. This resource will work directly with the application teams and the QA team, creating tests that will simulate what you would do in various browsers. The tests that are written will help to automate testing.

 

Responsibilities/Job Duties:

 Work with key team members to establish testing scope

Create full behavioral and internal tests that will be used for automated test scripts

Hands on Automation and Manual QA Position writing and executing test cases

Troubleshoot defects and code resolutions

Report on test writing and documentation progress

Report frequently on status, and risks/issues

Automation experience utilizing industry standard test automation tools

Demonstrated team player with good communication skills

Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Experience developing structured test plans and detailed test cases through analysis of complex business and technical requirements and high level design deliverables

Participate in SCRUM ceremonies as well as use "Agile" techniques to manage and complete user features

Ability to contribute productively to a fast-paced development team, delivering tested code in 2 week increments

Excels at working in a fast paced environment

Basic understanding of algorithms, data structure, control statements, time complexity, and design patterns

Experience running and maintaining both automated and manual test scripts for existing scenarios

Experience writing test cases and/or scenarios from requirements

Basic Working knowledge of common web service protocols, such as REST and JSON

Basic understanding of scripting in Python and the use of control statements

Experience running pre-existing automated tests for existing scenarios

Excellent documentation skills

Experience testing/executing PHP and Java command line applications

Experience testing REST and SOAP web services

Experience testing batch and/or ETL jobs

Experience testing API's

Experience writing Python, PHP, and Java Script for automated testing

Proven experience meeting large deliverables with fixed and aggressive deadlines

Proven analytical and problem solving skills

 

Minimum Requirements

Experience in:

PHP

Behat or Codeception (both would be great)

Vagrant/Homestead

Selenium IDE, Web Driver

HTML web elements

Fluency in Python, Java Script

Web GUI testing

BS in technical field

3+ years QA experience

Agile/Scrum experience

PHPSpec and PHPUnit

Gitlab/Github/Gitlab CI

Jenkins

SOAPUI, RESTClient

 

Preferred Requirements

Laravel (version 4 or higher)

Firefox Plugin or PostMan Browser plugin

MySQL

Web Services

Selenium Grid
