Position: Firmware Test Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA(Locals Only)
Type: Contract/ Contract to Hire

Job Description:
Qualifications:

• Successful candidates for this position shall have:
• At least five years or equivalent experience in embedded firmware testing, with multiple successful products that entered mass production.
• Extensive hands-on experience with functional and regression testing of products embedded software (firmware), deep knowledge in creation of product test plans and configuring test scenarios for embedded software development.
• Highly motivated, detail oriented, systematic and methodical approach in firmware testing, follow through every bug from discovery to resolution.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team, able to multitask effectively in fast-paced working environment.
• Knowledge of mass storage system, Flash memory (NAND / NOR), SATA / SAS protocol, RAID, Drivemaster, Flexstart scripting, automated testing experience strong plus.
• Knowledge of SSD flash translation layer, wear leveling, garbage collection optional but strong plus.
