Job Title: Visual Basics .Net Developer

Duration: 12+ months                                           

Location:  Minneapolis, MN

 

Job Description : 

The Systems Developer IT is responsible for investigating, identifying, and implementing application system changes and developing new applications. This position is responsible for analyzing and evaluating existing or proposed application systems to process data as well as design, code, test, debug, and document programs. This position is also responsible for collaborating with other team members by providing technical advice and training.

Responsibilities:

·         Consult with System Analysts, Technical Leads, and Project Managers to establish specifications and estimations on small-scale initiatives and requests 

·         Write detailed descriptions of user needs, system design, program functions, and steps required to modify computer systems and ensure compliance 

·         Develop, code or modify, test, and debug application programs to change control processes 

·         Train end-users and assist technical support staff on use of application systems software as needed 

·         Analyze and recommend changes to improve efficiency, lower costs, and enhance quality of business applications 

·         Work with System Analysts, Technical Leads, and Business Users to develop and implement acceptance test plan to ensure product meets customer requirements and expectations 

·         Review code quality and drive automation process routines 

·         Other duties as assigned 

 

 

Skills:

Programming language - Visual Basics .Net

.Net Framework - 4.0 and 4.5

Databases - SQL

Tools needed - Visual Studio, AQT, SOAP UI

Other skills - High proficiency in Excel (needed for PIM application)
