Job Title: Oracle DBA

Location: Herndon, VA

Duration: 6 Months

 

Note: For H1's we need Photo ID, Visa Copy & I94 copy or Passport number. 

 

Job Description:

• Be responsible for the design, support and maintenance of a large project.

• Be required to do a mix of engineering, project coordination and support

• Gather technical requirements, assess client capabilities and analyze findings to provide appropriate solution recommendations and adoption strategy

• Create the conceptual, logical and physical design of Monitoring solutions for infrastructure and platforms

• Research, analyze, recommend and select technical approaches for solving difficult and challenging development and integration problems

• Learn and adopt new tools and techniques to increase performance, automation and scalability

• Share the leading practices with internal team members and clients

• Collaborate as part of larger delivery teams which may include project managers, business analysts, architects, developers, and change management professionals

• Provide technical direction and oversight to Implementation teams.

• Good Experience in creating Simple and Complex SQLs, PL/SQL Functions and Procedures, Packages.

• Creation of Oracle Objects - Tables, Views, Materialized views, Triggers, Synonyms, Sequences.

• knowledge in Collections, Records, Bulk Collect and and the SQL Loader

• Excellent Analytical and Debugging skills with SQL, PL/SQL.

• Strong in Oracle Database performance analysis and SQL tuning.

• Strong in PL/SQL performance tuning

• Good knowledge in performance tuning of long running process

• Experience in data validation concepts

• Oracle export and import process

• Good experience in TOAD and SQL developer tools

• Exposure to basic database admin areas

• Experience in Data Modeling with any one modeling tool (ex: Erwin)

• Experience in database migration

• Should be good in shell scripting
