Job Title: Network Engineer
Job Location: Newport Beach, CA 92660
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)
Job Type: Contract
Must Have Skills (Top 3 technical skills only) *
1. Good understanding of OSI Model, TCPIP protocol suite, Bridging and switching concepts and LANWAN technologies, VLAN configuration, IP addressing and subnetting, Routing concepts, VPN, IPv4IPv6
2. Very strong knowledge of network system architectures, approaches, techniques and technologies.
3. Should have experience in Network monitoring Performance Tuning Design and Implementation.
Top 3 responsibilities you would expect the Subcon to shoulder and execute*:
1. Develop and maintain the overall network system architecture and plan
2. Lead activities related to network system architecture integration on all IT initiatives. Coordinate detailed technology network system execution plans with vendors.
3. Maintain awareness of current trends and innovations in the overall IT industry, allowing the incumbent to also make recommendations on future network system improvements and features.
