General Description
This position is responsible for development and enhancements of an existing web application which manages data quality and run the respective parameters utilizing .Net framework, MVC, C#, T-SQL, WinForms and Windows service in an Agile / Scrum development environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Modifications and enhancements to an existing web application which manages data quality and run the respective parameters using ASP.NET, Visual Studio.NET, Transact SQL, Microsoft Entity Framework & JQuery and AJAX.
· Building a web based dashboard showing real time processing data, manage alerts & notifications using ASP.NET, Visual Studio Framework, Transact SQL, Windows Service applications, Microsoft/Windows Forms.
· An option to build the dashboard could be with Angular2 Java script framework and Bootstrap (Bootstrap provides excellent charts, analytics capability and decision support components)
· Create a Data Subset for testing purpose as part of continuous integration Technology/frameworks required:
o Liquibase is an option to be used to create a data subset from the large database residing on SQL Server.
o Liquibase has capabilities to create data subsets in a custom format as required (JSON, XML, Java Business Objects) or it can be copied to database as well.
o Docker images can be built with migrating datasets from SQL to a NOSQL database like Apache Cassandra or MongoDB and then can be used for further processing.
o Elastic search is another option to create data subsets and data can be accessed with creating indexes and using the Create, Read, Update and Delete options of the HTTP Rest API.
· Hands on experience with continuous Integration and continuous deployment
Education and Experience
· Bachelors in computer science, engineering, MS or equivalent work experience; May have technology certifications
· 8+ years of progressive work experience designing and developing full stack applications in a Microsoft .Net environment.
· Experience with data modeling, relational databases, data structures and design
· Experience working with Product and Business Management teams
· Experience working in an entrepreneurial company
Skills and Knowledge
Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Knowledge, skills and experience of the following:
o Ability to determine a good user story
o Breaking down user stories into work requirements
o Effective unit testing
o Collaborative team based design
· Advanced Knowledge with several of the following: ASP.NET, Visual Studio.NET, Transact SQL, Microsoft Entity Framework, Windows Service applications, Microsoft/Windows Forms & JQuery and AJAX
· Knowledge and skill with the following
o Git, Jenkins, Gradle
o RESTful API, JSON, AngularJS, HTML5
· In depth knowledge of HIPAA X12 transactions, HL7 or Mirth desirable
Soft Skills:
· Ability to work hard, in an Agile environment and still have fun
· Foster an environment of relationship and collaboration
· Responsible for coaching and mentoring other team members
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, supporting company leadership and other team members
