Title : Cloud Trainer
Duration: 6+ Months

Primary Purpose:
· Train the team that's building the next generation of IT for BB&T. We're responsible for the design, development, and releases of automation artifacts to support the internal cloud environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Bring your development-first mindset!
· Being an aggressive doer while maintaining patience.
· Ensure that 'infrastructure is code' is the model.
· Support the Bank's cloud standards, working within Enterprise Architecture, to assist and help govern patterns designed by students; responsible for complex problem resolution, creating and improving procedures.
· Help engineers understand the Continuous Integration and Delivery pipeline capabilities of the internal cloud that fully automate the deployment of all the necessary components of the Bank's operating systems and application systems.
· Train engineers in building out cloud catalog items according to Internal Cloud strategic roadmap.
· Demonstrate, and evangelize the Bank's cloud capabilities to internal consumers.
Required Skills and Competencies:
· The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent education and related training.
· Several years of relevant experience in Test Driven Development with Object Oriented software development.
· Exceptionally solid skills and professional experience with Chef.
· Working familiarity with CICD tools like Artifactory, Git, Gerrit and Jenkins.
· Familiarity with large datacenter technologies around compute, security, firewall, high availability (HA), distributed resources, load balancing, monitoring for scalability and performance with elasticity.
· Proven job history with programming languages such as Java, Javascript, C++, Ruby.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, verbal and written; ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management as well as technical and non-technical personnel to serve as an evangelist and mentor.
