Oracle DBA
Location: Brentwood, TN
· Installing and upgrading the Oracle server and application tools especially 10g/11g to 12c.
· Strong Experience in Maintaining System and Controlling and monitoring user access to the database
· Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database system
· Modifying the database structure, as necessary, from information given by application developers
· Creating primary database storage structures (tablespaces) after application developers have designed an application
· Creating primary objects (tables, views, indexes) once application developers have designed an application
· Planning and Maintaining Archival / Backing up and Restoring the Database
· Nice to Have – Technical Skills
· Experience Migrating from Other Databases like SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Informix and ParcelAccel
· Tuning of Queries to Improve Performance
· Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database
· Experience in Using Different Industry Tools to Accomplish the Tasks
