Hi
Please lookup the below position and if you feel comfortable ,then please send me your updated resume
Role : Python Developer
Location : Greenwich, CT
Duration : 12+ Months
Interview : Phone Hire
Financial services (capital markets) background is still a must, ideally 5+ years
We are looking for someone who is very good on 3 fronts.
1. Technical Skills (Ideally in this order. We are NOT looking for a Java developer who wrote a Python script)
1. Python
2. Shell/Linux/Windows
3. Java
4. C (Purely nice to have)
2. DevOps experience
1. Candidate would have experience not just writing business functionality but full application lifecycle. Someone who understands what it takes to properly test, deploy, scale an application. Any sort of experience with enterprise software is a huge plus but not completely necessary.
2. The reason I ask for this: There are many many individuals out there claiming to know python who are mathematicians who just know pandas and linear algebra. We are looking for an actual software engineer/developer.
3. Communication Skills
1. I think that having an individual who can communicate well is absolutely critical to any of our client engagements. Someone who just runs off and works in a cubicle providing inadequate or unclear answers is more of a detriment than anything else working in a team, providing insight, or even taking direction to/from clients.
2. I cannot stress the importance of this enough.
