Job: BA/Tester w/Health Insurance

Location: Topeka, KS

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 12 months

Visa Status: All (No H1B)

Business Analyst with a testing background. The emphasis is on Java testing. Client has breaks in projects where if there is no testing, this person can step in and do BA work.

 

***JUnit - write JUnit, evaluate the code and see if the junits are doing the right thing (from the developer), NOT a developer.

 

• Writing SQL queries is required

• Health Insurance mandatory - Need someone that understand health insurance and memberships

• Establish acceptance criteria during User Story definition.

 

SKILLS:

• Experience with Health Insurance working with Membership (Members & Dependents)

• Experience with Java development

• DB2 experience

• JUnit for code coverage

• Unit, Integration and System testing experience

• Ability to interpret user requirements into IT system requirements

• Works with Java developers to ensure requirements have been fully addressed

• Excellent communication skills - both oral and written

• Ability to lead meetings involving groups of people from different organizational areas

• Great organizational and planning skills

• High attention to detail

 

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience working in an Agile development environment

• Prefer to have experience with HIPAA 834 layout

• High level understanding of PPACA legislation
