Job Title : Network Security Engineer
Location : Fresno, CA
Duration : 12 + Months
Rate : $50/hr
Local consultants are clients first proriety.
Note : NEED Green Card OR US Citizen
The Network Security Engineer is responsible for design, implementation, and troubleshooting of security infrastructure.
This individual will utilize extensive knowledge of Cisco gear and carrier networks to develop best practices and meet specific design goals.
They also need to have in-depth knowledge of configuration and installation of various enterprise class voice over IP devices, possess strong troubleshooting skills, and hands-on experience with advanced
diagnostic tools. Anticipated contract period is one year.
A full background check and polygraph testing will be required before commencement of the project.
Strong experience in the following developing tools are required:
Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco ASA At least 5 years' experience deploying, configuring, and administering Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls
Expertise with various routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP)
Experience in managing site-to-site and remote access VPNs
Maintain intelligent firewall rule sets Operate intrusion detection systems
Understanding of network security methodologies as a whole, including but not limited to: ACLs, stateful firewalls, VPNs (tunneling, IPsec, PPTP, etc.)
Thorough understanding of networking technologies, including administration of enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers (OSI layers 4-7)
In-depth knowledge of implementing Cisco VPN solutions or others
In-depth knowledge of implementing secure Wi-Fi access points
In-depth knowledge of HP switching equipment
Experience in the following developing tools are a plus:
At least 5+ years of data center experience
Having certifications
Knowledge of SAN technologies
Knowledge of virtualization in the data center
We would like to have this position filled as soon as possible. It will be a one-year contract with the possibility of an extension.
