Role 1:
Title: Backend Developer (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: Long term
Description:
The Business Operations Backend Developer role reports into the Operations Team that is responsible for managing the overseas supply chain and ensuring that all supply, cost, quality and commercial goals are achieved.
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for developing the backend for a custom application, as well as assist in web services development to interact with the frontend tool, in order to facilitate the needs of the business and deliver key business insights. Combining the use of relational database design, SQL querying, stored procedure development, and web services programming, you will be expected to enhance on an already existing application.
The work:
• Work on identified database development priorities with corresponding frontend developers.
• Develop and maintain a primary database along with other data streams, while at the same time maintain an architecture that facilitates scale and growth.
• Develop efficient queries (stored procedures, views, etc.) that provide the necessary info to the front end applications/tools.
• Develop efficient REST web services to interface between the frontend applications/tools and the databases being developed and maintained.
• Lead the way in reducing operational dependency on spreadsheets and implement systems, tools and processes that allow Operations to maximize the use of important strategic data assets.
Minimum Qualifications:
• BS degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience writing RESTful web services using Python, to interface between the UI and backend.
• 5 years of experience in relational database design/development in MySQL, Oracle, MSFT SQL Server, or other relational database technologies.
• 5 years of experience writing efficient and complex stored procedures/SQL queries (i.e. joins, temp tables, cursors, performance tuning, etc.)
• Experience in database performance tuning and handling large datasets.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience developing ETL processes to import large amounts of data and push/pull datastreams from other sources.
• Experience with one or more of these functional areas: PLM, ERP, supply chain management.

Role 2:
Title: Database Developer (Tableau, SQL Server)
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: Long term
Description:
The Business Operations Database Developer role reports into the Operations Team that is responsible for managing the overseas supply chain and ensuring that all supply, cost, quality and commercial goals are achieved.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing custom interactive data visualizations in order to provide supply chain stakeholders with easy access to key business metrics and information necessary to run the business.
The work:
• Create clean and user friendly Tableau dashboards, perform testing, and develop user guides.
• Work with project leads and stakeholders to understand data needs of the business.
• Identify trends and patterns in complex supply chain datasets.
• Make recommendations for changes to business systems to better support meaningful data reporting and analysis.
Minimum Qualifications:
• BS degree in computer science, economics, statistics or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of Tableau experience building interactive dashboards (i.e. parameters, filters, table calculations, size by and color by, etc).
• 3 years of experience working with relational databases (i.e. queries, joins, etc.)
• Proven critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 5 years of experience writing efficient and complex stored procedures/SQL queries (i.e. joins, temp tables, cursors, performance tuning, etc.)
• Experience with Level of Detail expressions in Tableau.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets data manipulation (VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, Pivot Tables, etc)
• Understanding of descriptive statistics, regression, and correlation.

Title: Mac Frontend Developer (Objective-C, Cocoa)
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: Long term
Description:
The Mac Frontend Developer role reports into the Operations Team that is responsible for managing the overseas supply chain and ensuring that all supply, cost, quality and commercial goals are achieved.
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for developing the User Interface for a custom application in order to facilitate the needs of the business and deliver key business insights. In this role you will provide data insight, create and improve features with a beautiful and simple UI that solve the complex and technical business problems.
The work:
• Work on identified development priorities with backend developers.
• Understand the business problems and convert them into technical workflows and ability to design and develop the technical solution for the same.
• Lead the way in reducing operational dependency on spreadsheets and implement systems, tools and processes that allow Operations to maximize the use of important strategic data assets.
Minimum Qualifications:
• BS degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge and experience of Objective-C and Cocoa.
• Experience designing simple and responsive UI.
• Experience with network communication protocols.
• Experience with Local and Remote Notifications.
• Experience in handling offline data storage.
• Experience in Memory Management.
• Must demonstrate a hands-on approach, attention to detail and results orientation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with backend software engineers and end-to-end integration.
• Experience in developing business systems solutions.
