Position: Project Manager IT

Location: Marysville, OH

Duration: 6+ Months

Requisition Detail:-

• Tracks costs and performance, service levels, and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are met
  
• Serves as a resource to project managers and project leaders to educate and assist them with implementing project management processes and making improvement/changes
  
• Provides administrative support to project managers and project leaders
  
• Ensures project control systems are in place and integrates project data for decision makers
  
• Coordinates and works with internal and external parties to organize the various components needed to initiate, run and conclude major projects
  

Musts:-

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
  
• Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is preferred.
  
• Strong ability to oversee and manage large, complex, diverse and strategic projects that impact the organization as a whole
  
• Strong ability in implementing program and project plans, monitoring progress, resource usage and quality
  
• Strong knowledge in conducting risk assessments and developing plans for eliminating or mitigating the risks identified
  

Wants:-

• Strong relationship building with internal IS Resources, Business Lines and Strategic Outsourcing Partner.
  
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with Application Teams, Server Teams, and Engineers for successful refresh of -W2003 Servers.
  
• Able to converse work with architecture/technical team to steer direction/solutions
  
• Strong decision analysis skills - particularly in recommending the right direction/method/tool, processes improvements, and driving successful execution.
  
• Excellent reporting/tracking skills to manage server data, tracking of issues and report details up stream.
  
• Can take initiative and work with minimal supervision.   Lead by example and be a proactive agent of change and have conflict resolution and risk management experience.
  
• Experiencing in managing projects where there are 1 or more sub project (s)/components reporting upstream for the overall Program.
  
• Experience/knowledge with IT Infrastructure including technology towers:Servers Physical & Virtual (Wintel, AIX), Storage, Mainframe, Backup and Recovery.
  
• Comfortable presenting to a medium/large size audience.
  
• Knowledge/ experience (at a high level to be able to ask quality questions) within Backup, Mainframe, Servers, and Storage to oversee/lead IS tech refresh program
  
• Experience working with outsourcing partners
