Role                       :              Java Architect  

Location               :              Parsippany, NJ

Duration              :              12+ Months

Interview            :              Phone then Face-to-Face

 

**This candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of experience creating web services from scratch!

They must have experience in one of the following: JAX-WS, JAX-RS or Apache CXF**

 

Responsibilities:

•                    Understand existing systems before producing code

•                    Produce code that is well-architected, clearly decoupled maintainable and secure

•                    Create web services and middle tier codes

•                    Demonstrate adherence to excellent design principles as well as understanding what makes a secure and efficient system

•                    Develops programming applications in an agile development environment

•                    Work and understand end user requirements; and translates business requirements in to state of the art technical solutions

 

Required Skills:

•                    10 + years of experience in application design and development in Java

•                    Experience in developing Java Web Services using JAX-WS, JAX-RS, JBossWS (AS7) or Apache CXF framework

•                    Experience with Web Services security and Java security layer

•                    Experience and proficiency in SOA applications

•                    Experience in MS SQL Server

•                    Ability to produce clear and concise documentation

Experience working with end users

•                    Travel Domestic/International less than 10%

 

 

Required Technical Competencies:

•                    •     Java 1.6 or higher, JSF, Spring, Hibernate, CSS, JSON, JavaScript, AJAX, JQUERY, OO Design & OO Programming, Eclipse IDE, JUnit, XML Technologies, JAX-WS, JAX-RS. MS SQL Server

 

Preferred Technical Competencies:

•                    •     Tamino XML Database
