Role:- Developer with Linux and Perl

Location:- Chicago(Naperville), IL | Waukesha, WI

Duration:- 8 Months Contract

 

Job description: 

Linux Internals, Spring Framework, Perl Programming

Linux: Experience in the installation, configuration, and overall management of a Linux system; system level programming, and automating these types of operations. Redhat based OS Perl / Bash: Perl and Bash scripts, regular expressions and Linux system commands.

Java: Java Spring, API development, using a combination of Perl, and/or Java, inside an apache or tomcat environment.

 

The team is working on a redesign of the installation and configuration mechanism of the MR software. This work will include reverse engineering the current installer mechanism, and setting up a new API based installation and configuration mechanism for both the application and OS layers. The team will be using a combination of Perl/Bash/Java-Spring to generate APIs and automation tools to remove as much user interaction from the installation process as possible.

 

Desirable Skill:

·         Experience with Linux containers and cgroups

·         Experience in multiple file systems

·         Apache/Tomcat management experience

·         Experience with security in Linux environments and programming

·         Experience in Microsoft Office

·         Experience in a medically regulated environment
