Job Title: Network Data L2 Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: 6 Months

 

 

Job Description:

 

MUST HOLD A CCNP CERTIFICATION

 

•                     Deploy & troubleshoot Cisco Routers, Switches, Optical network devices

•                     Add & manage new devices discovered in Network Management systems

•                     Handle escalations and troubleshoot problems

•                     Handle deployment functions as requested

•                     Manage and oversee shift handover process

•                     Provide team support and process improvements through individual contributions.

•                     Maintain and Update Knowledge Base and documentation

•                     Perform change management in accordance with change management procedures

•                     Perform capacity and performance management and report whenever exception is reported and takes remedial action

•                     Troubleshooting Hardware and IOS related issue

•                     Monitor and maintain SLA

•                     Good knowledge for Network management software

•                     Experience in vendor co-ordination

•                     Hands on experience on upgrading IOS on network devices

•                     Experience in using network sniffers & diagnosing network related issues

•                     Experience in ITIL processes management

•                     Excellent communication skills
